Under his leadership, the company's independently developed sewage treatment technologies and equipment have been successfully applied to major overseas projects such as the Tanning Industrial Park in Dhaka, Bangladesh and the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone in Cambodia. Among them, the sewage treatment project of the tanning Industrial park in Dhaka, Bangladesh, has solved the problem of high-concentration tanning wastewater treatment with an innovative process, becoming a model case of China's environmental protection technology "going global". He emphasized that the essence of green trade is the mutual pursuit of technology and responsibility. Enterprises should promote the coordinated development of the global environmental protection industry through technology export and standard co-construction.

As a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, Academician Ling Xiyu has long been committed to the research and development of environmental protection technologies and the transformation of achievements. He has taken the lead in undertaking multiple major projects such as the National Water Special Project and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Jiangsu Province. He has won many honors including the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the First Prize of the Invention Award of the China Association for Invention. Under his leadership, the enterprise has obtained a total of 202 authorized patents. It contains 20 foreign invention patents.
